The Inside Sales Representative – Advisor Recruitment is an entry‑level role designed to support and enhance our advisor recruiting efforts across Canada. With three openings—one focused on Western Canada, one on Ontario, and one bilingual role supporting Quebec and Atlantic Canada—this position is responsible for sourcing, engaging, and qualifying prospective advisors from independent dealers and bank‑owned dealers. The role plays a critical part in building strong advisor pipelines and partnering with senior recruiters to drive growth across the business.

 

The primary objective is to grow the recruiting pipeline by leveraging LinkedIn for prospecting, conducting outreach via phone calls, and effectively communicating our value proposition to secure meetings with our leadership team.

 

Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the wealth advisory landscape, and the ability to engage with potential recruits. The Regional Recruiting Analyst will work closely with the Chief Growth Officer and the regional team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and contribute to the firm’s growth strategy.

 

The role requires a blend of industry knowledge, strategic and analytical thinking, effective communication skills, creative problem-solving abilities, perseverance, and the agility to shift from strategic prospecting efforts to engaging directly with potential recruits as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Prospecting & Outreach

  • Utilize LinkedIn and other tools to identify potential advisor recruits at competing firms.

  • Develop comprehensive lists of advisor prospects and create strategies for engagement.

  • Conduct initial outreach via phone calls and emails to establish connections and gather interest.

 

Value Proposition Communication

  • Clearly articulate the firm's value proposition to prospective advisors.

  • Engage prospects in meaningful discussions to encourage meetings with leadership.

  • Tailor messaging to resonate with advisors' career aspirations and business needs.

 

Collaboration & Regional Teamwork

  • Work closely with the regional team to align recruiting efforts with regional growth objectives.

  • Share insights and collaborate on strategies to enhance recruitment success.

 

Pipeline Development & Management

  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of advisor prospects.

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings between potential recruits and leadership.

  • ·         Track and report on recruitment activities and outcomes to measure success.

Industry Knowledge & Relationship Building

  • Develop a deep understanding of the advisor role and industry dynamics.

  • Establish and nurture relationships with prospects to foster trust and engagement.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of the financial advisory landscape and the role of advisors.

  • The successful candidate will be required (for the for the Quebec & Atlantic Canada positions) to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.​

     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ·Prior experience in recruiting, sales, or client relationship management within financial services is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to engage with professionals and build meaningful relationships  

  • Communication & Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present the firm’s value proposition compellingly.

  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for developing trust and rapport with potential recruits.

  • Results-Driven: Goal-oriented with a focus of achieving recruitment or sales targets.

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze market trends and identify potential recruitment opportunities.

  • Proactive & Self-Motivated: Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Salary range is expected to be between

$48,450.00 CAD - $80,750.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
