Job Description:
Exciting opportunity to join the site R&D team in [ADD SITE] as the Quality & Food Safety Manager. The Purpose of the role is to ensure Mars QMP quality management system and food safety risk assessment & control in [region], full compliance with ISO9001/ global standard/ China local regulatory.
What are we looking for?
1. Food science, Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent BSc/ MSc degree is preferred.
2.Experience of quality assurance from a sizable organization
Knowledge of quality management system – ISO 9001 and quality program GMP/ Hygienic design.
3. Familiar with legal food safety requirement, food process technology.
4. Problem solving skill and systematic thinking
What will be your key responsibilities?
1. Maintain and enhance Mars QMS – lead region for global standards T4 feedback and T5 gap assessment, follow up system deviation with CAPA and identify system opportunity.
2. Work closely with SQA/ RMCT/ PD team for quality & food safety risk assessment to ensure full compliance with China Food Regulatory and Mars standard.
3. Coordinate for annual verification activities
4. Promote quality culture and enhance quality awareness, coordinating Quality Week activity, leadership accountability to quality, quality KPI period review, quality council quality review and quality management review etc.
5. Lead quality capability training program and build up quality expert pool and quality capability for all associate.

Skills Required
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or an equivalent field
- Quality assurance experience in a sizable organization
- Knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001
