Job Description
You will be responsible to lead a geographical region including the distributors, end customers, integrators and contractors within the east coast of the US. You will provide support and pricing strategies for Intelligent Device products and services (MV MCC, MV Drives, LV MCC, and Engineered Water. You will coordination products in the business along with different 3rd party power and packaging equipment including e-scada systems. This may include assisting the distributors with technical builds for assigned opportunities, working with the Proposal Development Team in coordination for select builds, WIN Strategy Calls, PARB calls, Pricing Agreements, and Forecasting. You will report to the Regional Commercial Offer Manager, East, Central, Canada and have a hybrid schedule working in out of any of Rockwell Automation's business locations in the Northeast United States.
Your Responsibilities:- Handle distributor/customer requests and management of the quotation requests and pricing requests submitted to the Regional Proposal Specialist for help.
- Work with sales and channel (distributors) to strategize on opportunities as well provide input to increasing successes through the Win Strategy process.
- Support by contributing to training classes for the channel teams and distributor specialists to increase their abilities to handle standard product quotes themselves, leaving only the most complex for the Proposal Development Team.
- Take measures to ensure the successful outcome of the assigned projects
- Collaborate and lead both commercially and technically with Regional Proposal Specialists, the Proposal Development Team members, Sales Offices, Channel Partners, RA Business Units, Contracts and Negotiations.
- Employ commercial and technical skills and creativity to maximize RA profit and growth opportunities while negotiate internally and externally using sound understanding of cost, value and profit margin to establish pricing with approvals.
- Be able to obtain approvals in compliance with Rockwell policies including executive level approvals. Participation in PARB level approval meetings, including creation of the Risk Analysis information within the CATE tool.
- Maintain business tools daily as opportunities evolve. For direct engagements report important activities such as Forecasting, communications directly with customers for the projects.
- Seek out and participate in continuous improvement, through feedback, training opportunities to address identified gaps and further strengthening skills required for the role.
- Build relationships with our partners and integrators to be successful with integration of complete solutions.
- Be the regional expert for Low Voltage Motor Control Centers, Medium Voltage Drives, Medium Voltage Motor Control Centers and Engineered Water Configured Low Voltage Drives.
- Be able to support distributors with proposals with customers while instilling confidence for the solution.
- Apply engineering skills to ask questions to qualify opportunities all while trying to help instill trust in our equipment for the application. Network internally to understand and apply product synergies
- Follow all applicable corporate, company, governmental and regulatory procedures for this position
- Bachelors degree

- The ability to travel 10% of the time.
- 5+ years of experience with Electrical systems and installation
- Experience with Prefabricated Modular Buildings, Single Line Drawings, motors, switchgear, transformers, and PLCs
- Experience with Packaged Power Systems
- Previous sales experience

- Work in cross-regional team
- Experience developing proposals, convey project status updates, design information, technical issues/resolutions, and complete project milestone reviews.

- For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $82,960.00 - $124,440.00 USD Annual with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
