What you will do
The Regional Program Manager will be responsible for the creation, support and management of change networks to oversee the lifecycle management of End of Life products and products requiring IT updates across the APAC region. This role involves strategic planning and execution to ensure efficient phase-out processes, aligning with corporate goals and customer needs.
You will manage cross-functional teams to develop and implement end-of-life strategies, including communication with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations, and minimizing disruptions to customers and operations, particularly in relation to IT security compliance.
How you will do it
- Lead and manage the end-of-life product portfolio, coordinating with engineering, sales, and marketing teams.
- Drive adoption of work in the field to protect JCI from potential global revenue fines from external regulatory compliance groups like CIAS Attestation, PSTI, NIS2, and CRA.
- Develop comprehensive phase-out plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and IT security compliance considerations.
- Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders regarding timelines, impacts, and strategies related to end-of-life products.
- Ensure that all phasing out processes align with IT security compliance standards and regulations.
- Ensure regional leadership and local market offices are continuously aware of all emerging IT risk, E.O.L. and hardening issues and efforts.
- Monitor product performance and customer feedback to inform future product lifecycle decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in the end-of-life process.
What we look for
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT Security, Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in program management, preferably in the manufacturing or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and end-of-life strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and work collaboratively with diverse, interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team collaboration and achievement of goals.
- HVAC, Controls, Fire or Security systems knowledge
- IT security knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Fluency in English; other regional language skills a plus.
