The Role

- Act as the primary liaison with outsourced payroll vendor(s)
- Own payroll calendar, approvals, audits, and reconciliations
- Validate inputs and outputs for each cycle (hires, terminations, bonuses, etc.)
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies or escalations
- Manage internal compliance with tax, wage laws, and SOX requirements
- Partner with Finance, HRBPs, Benefits, and Legal to ensure payroll accuracy
- Support payroll accounting function as needed
- Prepare payroll reports and dashboards for leadership
- Recommend and implement process improvements and automation
- 5–7 years of experience in global payroll operations (EMEA, APAC)
- Experience with outsourced/global payroll vendors
- Experience with regional benefits policies desired
- Knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, or equivalents)
- Strong analytical, audit, and reconciliation skills
- Excellent communication and vendor management ability
