As our team continues to expand across Asia, we are looking for a detail-oriented Regional Payroll Specialist to join our regional HR team. This role is based in Kuala Lumpur and will primarily focus on payroll operations for SEA and Hong Kong/China, while supporting ad-hoc HR recruitment activities when needed.
Job Overview
The Senior Executive, Payroll & Administrative Support is responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing across assigned countries (SEA, Hong Kong, and Mainland China), in collaboration with HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors. The role also supports basic HR operations, including occasional recruitment activities for junior and part-time positions.
Key Responsibilities

Payroll Support (70%)

• Support monthly payroll processing for multiple countries, including Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Australia, and the Philippines, in coordination with internal teams and payroll vendors.
  
• Prepare and verify payroll data such as attendance, leave records, allowances, deductions, and statutory items.
  
• Assist with payroll reports, basic reconciliations, and post-payroll checks.
  
• Respond to routine payroll-related inquiries from employees.
  

Administrative & HR Support (30%)

• Provide general administrative support to payroll and HR functions, including document preparation and record maintenance.
  
• Maintain and update employee information in HR and payroll systems.
  
• Support onboarding and offboarding administrative processes.
  
• Prepare simple reports and supporting documents as required.
  
• Perform other support duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  
• 2–4 years of experience in payroll and/or HR administrative support.
  
• Experience working with payroll vendors or multi-country payroll exposure is an advantage but not mandatory.
  
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
  
• Basic proficiency in Excel and standard office applications.
  
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
  
• Cantonese proficiency is a plus.
