Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing and driving operational excellence within a designated region. If selected for this position, the company will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Drives operational strategies and projects across a team of District Operations Managers (DOMs) to achieve KPIs and strategic goals.
Implements processes to enhance operational sales performance, assessing team productivity and fostering a culture of excellence.
Executes company strategy through playbooks, training programs, and long-term associate development.
Advocates for company policies and practices, communicating insights and recommendations to leadership teams.
Cultivates a collaborative culture, working closely with sales teams and corporate functions to maintain operational standards.
Manages human resources processes for operations associates, ensuring a strong leadership bench and strategic alignment.
Leads change initiatives and operational transformations to support growth objectives.
Supports mergers and acquisition activities through due diligence and market analysis.
Ensures consistent operational practices and safety compliance across the region.
Partners with sales teams to enhance customer service and drive sales growth initiatives.

Solutions require analysis and investigation.
Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience. May recommend/make decisions regarding new programs/initiatives that have significant impact to the business and carry consequences in unsuccessful endeavors.
Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff.
Work Environment
Usually located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort, such as dust, fumes, or odors.
Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about. Occasionally there may be a requirement to stoop or lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).
Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.
Education and Experience
Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven operational leadership with a track record of successfully managing multi-unit teams.
Proficiency in operational analysis, performance metrics, and data-driven decision making.
Ability to align operational strategies with business objectives and contribute to long-term planning.
Proficiency in project management methodologies to oversee and execute operational projects effectively.
Deep understanding of the industry best practices and trends in operations management.
