Job Description:
Job Purpose:
The role is responsible for Mars stock management and outbound operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency in logistics services delivery with optimum cost and quality through managing all relevant 3PLs operations and performance. He will be also responsible to manage the order to delivery cycle for all modern trade customers. The role is responsible for relevant conversion cost management and delivering savings through driving value leadership program across logistics operations while ensuring full compliance with Mars global standards and local regulations. He will also be key in delivering logistics network optimization, ensuring updated processes/SOPs are in place and leading the delivery of system improvement as a key user. The role requires collaboration with cross functional team to drive efficiencies and balance cost. The job holder will work closely with supply chain functions, Sales, and finance and Service providers.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Warehousing & Outbound operation.
Logistics network optimization
Stock accuracy, reconciliation, Full physical and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy targets are maintained
Warehouse 3PL management for inbound, warehousing & outbound including contracts,
SLA and performance management
Responsible for meeting Mars internal/external audit requirements & actions for
stock management
Ensure compliance with Mars Global standards for warehousing and transportation
Ensure compliance with local government authorities
Manage warehouse and QMP audits to ensure compliance
Warehouse Capacity management and optimization short and long term
Warehouse resources management and optimization in assigned regions
Destruction management and reporting
Manage order picking and loading for customers
Manage all outbound operations including deliveries, redeliveries and refusals.
Manage monthly, quarterly, midyear and year end stock counts and reconciliation.
S&OP
Input to SMR (Conversion, 3PL performance, warehouse and transportation KPIs,
escalations… etc.)
Systems & Processes
Key user for WMS & Supply Chain Outbound
Lead testing and delivery of all system CIPs and projects
Own SOPs for warehousing, inbound and outbound including continuous improvement
Drive efficiency through system and processes CIPs
Conversion & Value Leadership
1. Budget management for warehousing and transportation in owned regions
2. Validate actual spend and provide periodic year end estimates
3. Drive value leadership initiatives across warehousing and transportation
CMOS Management
1. Run CMOS forums in a quality manner as per global guidelines.
2. Responsible for all CMOS forums and audits.
Education & Professional Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in business, Industrial Engineering or supply chain
· Minimum of 3- 5 years' experience in supply chain (planning, logistics and customer service)
· Systems knowledge is a must as the associate will manage one if not more systems e.g. Excel, SAP, Oracle, WMS… etc.
· Certification in Supply Chain management (CPIM, CLTD)
· Transportation management (inbound and outbound)
· Reverse Logistics
· Project Management
· Excellent communication skills with good knowledge of written and spoken English
· Negotiation skills and customer service management
· Experience on projects requiring change management or transformational process and organization behavior changes
