Job Summary
In this role, you will be leading the Commercial Marketing function for IDEXX Livestock, Poultry, and Dairy (LPD) in Asia-Pacific & Oceania (APO) region.
The Livestock, Poultry, and Dairy (LPD) group provides diagnostic solutions for laboratories, veterinarians, and farmers. The Marketing Manager reports to the Associate Commercial Director, developing and executing marketing plans in close collaboration with key business stakeholders in the APO region.
Key Responsibilities
1.Commercial Planning & Cross-Functional Alignment
In collaboration with the commercial leaders, identify key growth priorities and focuses in the region.
Lead commercial planning activities to support these priorities and focuses, ensuring alignment with and support from the global marketing counterparts, sales teams , and other key functions in the region.
Facilitate planning sessions, synchronize objectives across teams, and integrate commercial activities to support broader business goals.
2.Marketing Launch Planning & Performance Reporting
Develop and execute marketing launch plans for product or service introductions.
Establish clear KPIs and reporting mechanisms to measure launch success, track performance, and provide insights for continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
3.Marketing Channel Strategy & Metrics Analysis
Create, implement, and optimize marketing channel plans across digital, social, and traditional media at the regional level.
Support the adaptation and implementation of these plans in key markets in the region.
Conduct monthly performance reviews and metrics analysis, using data to refine approach and achieve growth targets.
4.Digital Marketing & Lead Generation
In collaboration with the local commercial teams, design and manage digital marketing campaigns to drive lead generation, IDEXX brand building and customer engagement.
Utilize SEO, email marketing, paid media, and content marketing to attract and convert high-quality leads for the sales team.
5.Promotions & Program Management
In collaboration with the local commercial teams, plan and execute quarterly promotions and targeted programs to engage customers, drive revenue growth, and support key business objectives.
Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
6.Sales Enablement & Training
In collaboration with the training function to develop and refine training materials, enablement tools and assessments that enhance the sales team’s product knowledge, market and/or competition understanding, key messaging and positioning capabilities.
Provide positioning strategies to ensure competitive differentiation in customer interactions.
7.Sales & Marketing Collateral Development
Create and manage a comprehensive suite of sales and marketing materials, including presentations, value propositions and talk-tracks, brochures, product sheets, and digital assets.
Tailor materials to different customer segments and ensure they align with brand guidelines and strategic messaging.
8.Tradeshow Strategy & ROI Optimization
Oversee and provide guidance to the local commercial teams on regional and local tradeshow strategy, including budgeting, logistics, target audience, theme and content, engagement, lead generation and post-event tracking etc.
Maximize ROI by ensuring that tradeshow investments align with broader commercial goals, generate leads, and strengthen brand visibility.
9.Competitive Intelligence
In collaboration with the local commercial teams, source and analyze competitive intelligence to inform strategic planning and keep the company responsive to market dynamics.
Regularly update commercial teams on competitive trends, pricing, product launches, and customer feedback.
10.Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Management
In collaboration with the local commercial teams, identify regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), manage the engagements and relationships with the strategic goals to drive adoption of disease-control and diagnostic practices, and collect market insights that can improve farm productivity and animal health.
11.Full Commercial Marketing Support
Provide comprehensive marketing support for LPD commercial leadership to drive alignment and ensure effective collaboration at both planning and execution levels.
Serve as a primary point of contact between marketing and sales, delivering insights, resources, and guidance to empower sales performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent. Master’s degree advantageous.
Minimum 7 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in Pharma or Medical Devices.
Fluent in English (verbal and written); Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
Experience in digital marketing campaign development and execution.
Strong project leadership in matrixed, cross-functional environments.
Experience working in livestock-related industries esp. poultry segment is a plus.
