DuPont Styro Corp. (DSC) is a participant primarily in construction industry with Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) board and Spray Foam (SPU) as one of DuPont’s portfolio in Shelter business.
This Marketing management role in DSC is a core member of commercial leaders to drive the team success from marketing aspects through delivering the business goals which include top and gross margin delivery, grow valuable business along with mid-term (five-year) plan, grow new business in innovation portfolio, enabling DSC to be continued as the best choice of the customers.
While taking marketing lead, this person is also expected to be one of the DSC leadership team (LT) core members for transforming this full functional J.V. company to be more sustainable and valuable business.
Key Responsibilities:

Business management: Lead the business with own marketing strategy for delivering targets of the revenue (>$100MM) and the margin in XPS and SPU portfolio nationwide.

Business management: Drive the growth the business in the new applications, customers and / or geography which are aligned with own business directions.

Alignment through team management: Team working with primarily commercial organizations – marketing, product, sales but also other six other functions for optimizing team performance while being as one of key members of DSC leadership team.
Qualifications:
Experiences and capacities below are required or preferred.

Business management in commercial segment in either marketing, product or sales.

Execute and lead value creation in balance of growth in top and bottom lines.

Skills for evaluating and develop logical strategy for driving success.

Proactive actions for understanding realities and update the marketing direction.

Good organizational and people management skill within his/her organization and beyond.

Knowledge of market in Construction or Insulation is preferred.

Plastics or Chemical knowledge in commercial level is preferred.

Fluency in both Japanese and English.
Preferred behavior and style.

Always being as a leader of the business with strong accountability.

Speedy and visible execution by proactive actions, not reactive.
