Job Description SummaryThe Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) is responsible for identifying, analyzing and communicating aviation industry insights and regional intelligence to the METCIS region and to the broader business/HQ team. This individual will:
Develop expertise and a deep understanding of the METCIS region, and closely monitor and report on all major market trends and activities within the METCIS region.
Act as the strategic arm of the METCIS Sales Pole leadership team.
Develop standard work to identify insights, analyze datasets, and establish recommendations for business strategies.Job Description

Role Overview:

  • Provide marketing leadership to the METCIS Pole General Manager (PGM) and team by establishing, driving and leading an effective intelligence process to include capturing, assessing, disseminating and presenting regional market intelligence/insights that lead to business impacts.
  • Develop local market expertise and insight. Conduct research & analysis on region-specific issues, trends, market dynamics, customer segmentation, targeting and positioning of the business.
  • Partner with the Pole General Manager (PGM) to develop a regional strategy, and execute on the elements of the strategy related to marketing.  
  • Support the Marketing Team’s forecasting process by provide insights and data for short term and long term market forecasts.
  • Provide market data to enable winning sales campaigns and effective sales campaign strategies
  • Focal for External Customer, Partner & Airframer events in region, and VOC collection in the region
  • Partner with Communications, Product Line teams, and Future of Flight team to develop region specific messaging, and serve as focal for regional events if required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Minimum eight years of aviation or aerospace-specific expertise

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in, Marketing, Finance, Engineering or Business Administration (MBA)
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) with ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including GMs
  • Experience utilizing LEAN tools and practices to deliver results.
  • Excellent business acumen and strategic thinking to assess and identify implications of market trends, aviation industry trends, market insights, competitive business activities across business functions
  • Experience analyzing and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative information, identifying implications and observing patterns
