JOB DESCRIPTION
Regional Marketing Manager, Europe
Location: Beverly, MA (with approx 25% travel)
This role supports the Europe regional marketing strategy in close collaboration with local account managers to drive market share growth, improve customer satisfaction, and anticipate future market needs across the European semiconductor ecosystem. The position is a key contributor in developing go-to-market strategies across assigned Axcelis product lines, leads customer-facing technical marketing engagements, and translates voice-of-customer insights into clear guidance for product development teams.
Acting as a strong, bidirectional link between Axcelis headquarters and the Europe sales organization, this role requires a strategic, proactive mindset to generate innovative solutions and deliver results with high accountability. Success in this role also depends on strong interpersonal skills, customer awareness, the ability to build consensus across diverse regional stakeholders, and effective navigation of complex multinational customer environments.
Regional Marketing role includes:
- Customer Engagement
- Drive Europe customer strategy across key accounts
- Lead customer meetings, technical reviews, and tool evaluations
- Strengthen executive and working-level relationships to accelerate adoption
- Marketing & Strategy
- Execute regional marketing plans aligned to Europe market dynamics, customer investment priorities, and emerging technology inflections
- Develop high-impact collateral tailored to local customer requirements
- Align account strategies with product positioning and competitive landscape
- Market Insights
- Deliver actionable intelligence on Europe semiconductor trends, including power devices, automotive, analog, logic, memory, advanced packaging, and regional capacity expansion
- Conduct TAM analysis, competitive benchmarking, and customer road mapping
- Support industry reporting and strategic planning inputs
- Sales Enablement
- Serve as primary liaison between factory and Europe sales teams
- Support customer visits, demos, quotes, and upgrade initiatives
- Provide product training and application positioning to drive revenue growth
- Voice of Customer
- Capture and translate VoC and NPS insights from Europe accounts
- Influence product roadmap, feature prioritization, and service improvements
Additional Skills Requirements
- Experience preferred in:
- Semiconductor equipment or materials technical marketing / applications / sales
- Semiconductor device/process engineering with supplier interface experience
- Understanding of the Europe semiconductor ecosystem, customer expectations, regional funding and investment dynamics, and competitive landscape
- Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Science, Marketing, or Management)
Job Location & Travel
- Primary base of employment is Beverly, with regional responsibility for Europe customer and market engagement.
- Travel: ~25% within Europe and occasional global travel to Axcelis headquarters, customer sites, and industry events
- Flexibility for global collaboration across Europe, US, and Asia time zones

U.S. BASE SALARY RANGE
$150,559.20 - $225,838.80This base salary range reflects the typical compensation for this role across U.S. locations.
Our salary ranges are determined by role and level; individual pay is determined based on
multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, work
location, and internal equity. The range provides the opportunity for growth and progression as
you develop within the role.
Base pay is one part of our U.S. total compensation package which includes eligibility in the
Axcelis Team Incentive bonus plan, and comprehensive benefits package (for regular
employees working 20+ hours a week).
Skills Required
