The Regional Manager will oversee multiple Areas, with Area Managers reporting directly to this position. This role involves managing a substantial portfolio of MicroSchools, ensuring excellence in work execution, strategic alignment, and compliance with program objectives. As a senior leader, the Regional Manager will drive performance and culture, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and promote cost-effective implementation across the region.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic & Implementation Leadership
  • Develop, implement, and monitor execution plans aligned with TTWF’s mission and strategic goals.
  • Lead and mentor Areas to achieve program targets and maintain high- quality standards.
  • Identify Out-of-School Children (OOSC) populations to guide program expansion and resource allocation.
  • Oversee Microschool planning across all phases: pre-launch, launch, and post-launch.
  • Create and manage facilitator recruitment, deployment, and development plans.
  • Develop and monitor infrastructure requirements to ensure readiness and sustainability.
  • Foster a cost-conscious culture to maximize resources and control repair and maintenance costs.
2. Program Execution & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with functional heads at the Head Office — including M&E, Training, Learning, Assessment, Procurement, and Finance — to ensure seamless execution of programs.
  • Monitor all KPIs and track performance via dashboards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government bodies, community representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance, program visibility, and sustainability.
  • Represent TTWF at official meetings, community forums, and partnership engagements.

3. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Conduct regular field visits to assess execution quality, identify challenges, and implement corrective measures.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of hardware and software across all locations.
  • Submit timely progress reports outlining achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Propose innovative ideas for program improvement and scale-up opportunities.
4. Culture & Team Development
  • Capacity-building and mentoring of area teams and area managers
  • Development of a uniform TTWF culture across areas


Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in program execution or project management, preferably in the education or non-profit sector.
  • At least 3 years in a senior, multi-area leadership role.

Skills & Competencies
  • Proven ability to lead large, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Financial skills with experience in budget management and cost control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with digital tools.
