Regional Manager, Jr. – Army Military Pay Office (Remote)

Overview:  Responsible for the supervision of the military pay clerks at geographically dispersed locations across the United States.  Responsible for ensuring 100% staffing at each site and backfilling positions with Full-Time Pay Clerks. Each site has 1 lead for which the RM will work with on a daily basis to track attendance, provide productivity reports, resolve personnel matters, recruitment and retention of personnel.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Monitors daily attendance of onsite employees. Submits a daily attendance report to the Program Manager and Government.   
  • Reviews and approves employee timesheets.  
  • Interviews candidates to fill open positions.
  • Completes requisition forms for employee hiring actions, separation forms for employee terminations, and change forms for transfers/personnel status changes. 
  • Ensures all employees complete their mandatory training on time.  Follows up with those that are delinquent in completing the training. 
  • Elevates and communicates performance issues to the Program Manager. 
  • Interacts with daily with onsite Government POCs and employees.  

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree. 
  • At least two years of supervisory experience supporting projects of similar size and scope.
  • The ability to work at an accelerated pace and manage a geographically disperses workforce. 
  • Obtain a favorable criminal background check and security investigation.
  • US Citizen.
  • Proficient in English, both written and oral.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook, plus Adobe Acrobat 6.0 and Internet Explorer 7 or above.
  • Proficient in the use of basic office equipment such as computers, copiers, fax machines, scanners. 
  • Type 40 words per minute.
  • Familiarity with the military is desirable.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Proven customer service skills

  • Proficiency using basic office equipment, including computers, copiers, fax machines, and scanners
  • Successful completion of RAPIDS certification within seven business days of hire
  • Typing speed of 25 words per minute
  • Familiarity with the military
