Reporting to the Director, Business Field Operations, the Regional Manager is accountable for the day-to-day operations of a field-based team delivering infrastructure deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting services across assigned areas. This role guides and supervises the daily activities of business support and technical field staff, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with customer expectations.
The Regional Manager sets priorities for the team, coordinates activities with other supervisors as needed, and provides hands-on operational and technical support to drive service quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop field technicians by providing technical guidance, coaching, training, skill assessments, and performance management while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

  • Manage field operations and workforce performance through effective scheduling, workload balancing, resource allocation, metric tracking, safety compliance, and staffing activities including hiring, development, and disciplinary actions

  • Drive an exceptional customer experience by reviewing customer feedback, resolving service concerns, leading issue escalations, and partnering with field teams to improve service quality and customer satisfaction

  • Coordinate emergency response and operational coverage during service disruptions, weekends, and off-hours by dispatching resources, providing field support, and ensuring timely restoration of service with minimal customer impact

  • Oversee field logistics and operational readiness by managing tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials, resolving dispatch escalations, collaborating with workforce planning teams, and supporting efficient execution of field activities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years direct experience within Telecommunications Field Operations

  • Previous experience as senior or lead technician, or supervisor

  • Strong client-facing skills with experience in managing customer relationships, handling escalations, and identifying new business opportunities through consultative engagement

  • Proven track record in improving organizational effectiveness by streamlining workflows, enhancing productivity, and executing on strategic operational goals

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and build strong internal and external relationships

  • Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while managing multiple priorities and shifting demands

Work Conditions:

  • This position will require on-site and in-office availability and the ability to travel between 25% - 50% of the time

Compensation

$69,200.00 - $95,150.00

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.

Skills Required
