The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Manager to lead our Joint Replacement business across Sydney, NSW (North Sydney to Newcastle). You will be accountable for commercial growth, clinical partnerships, and team performance across the region, leading a team of five Sales Representatives.

About Joint Replacement
Stryker’s Joint Replacement division focuses on hip and knee replacement solutions that restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve quality of life for patients. The portfolio includes implant systems, surgical techniques, and enabling technologies designed to support precision, efficiency, and reproducible outcomes for orthopaedic surgeons.

What You Will Do
  • Deliver regional revenue growth, profit, and market share targets across the Joint Replacement portfolio.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5 Sales Representatives, driving performance against defined sales and capability metrics.
  • Execute regional sales strategies aligned to surgeon demand, hospital priorities, and portfolio objectives.
  • Build long-term partnerships with orthopaedic surgeons, operating theatre teams, and hospital decision-makers.
  • Drive accurate forecasting, territory planning, inventory control, and service coverage across the region.
  • Lead professional execution of product launches, portfolio conversions, and recalls.
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and procedural trends to inform regional strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with quality management systems, regulatory standards, and company policies.
What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in implantable medical device sales.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a people leadership or sales management role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, science, healthcare, or a related discipline.
  • Valid Australian driver’s licence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within joint replacement or reconstructive orthopaedics.
  • Experience managing hospital accounts across public and private systems.
  • Experience working within regulated medical technology environments.
