Join Hitachi Energy as a Regional Machine Safety Engineer and become a trusted expert leading the development and execution of machine safety strategies across operations. In this role, you’ll combine technical knowledge with cross-functional collaboration to design safer systems, improve processes, and protect people.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Working closely with engineering, maintenance, and factory teams, you will take ownership of machine safety initiatives—from risk assessment to implementation of safeguarding solutions. Your expertise will influence key decisions in industrial projects, upgrades, and daily operations. Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Process Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in machine safety, risk assessment, or maintenance

  • Knowledge of ANSI and ISO machine safety standards

  • Ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system diagrams

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills

  • Certification (ANSI or TÜV) or willingness to obtain
