Salary: $33-$40 /hour
The primary responsibility for this role is to create, maintain and manage a transport strategy that warehouse. The role will be responsible for landing the financial goals of the company through fleet supports the ever-increasing demands of on-time delivery to both customer and freight to management and strategy including capacity and carrier performance. This will be accomplished
through effectively managing our carrier network and working critical partnerships with Commercial, Supply Planning, Customer Supply and third party TMS to insure Best in Class performance.
What are we looking for?
Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field AND/OR
- 3-5 years’ experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
- Demonstrated strength in quantitative and analytical experience
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, influence, negotiate, motivate and lead a team.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple teams across multiple sites
- Effectively communicate and influence at all levels of the organization including the reporting and presentation of data
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Nexus, etc.)
- Ability to transfer procedures and training experiences to others
- Flexibility to adapt to regularly changing priorities and quality issues · Ability to handle sensitive information
Preferred
- Knowledge of SAP, JDA WMS ,ISO, Quality Management Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety
- Proficiency in Tableau
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Manages all regional projects and leads regional cross-functional project teams from Charter alignment, delivering the activities in high quality, as per agreed business targets
- Develops analysis and scorecards for communication to the customer and key cross-functional teams to improve overall supply chain compliance and effectiveness
- Carrier performance management and execution strategy
- Own third-party transportation carrier relationships to ensure that service level requirements are met at contracted rates
- Daily operational management, Tender acceptance
- Lead quarterly carrier summit
- Transport Capacity Analytics
- Develops and maintains yearly capacity plans, to support commercial transportation procurement and rate negotiations to ensure that appropriate transport capacity is in-place to deliver business results
- RFP and Route guide Management to ensure capacity
- Period capacity calibration across all sites both inbound and outbound finished goods as well as raws and packs
- Cross functional partner with supply planning and commercial on transportation needs and changes within the business
- Spend management
- Routing guide compliance

- Mitigating risk to customer fines and fees
- Optimal sourcing
- Payload optimization
- Collaborate with key Supply Chain / Supply stakeholders (Planning, Warehouse, Customer SC, Manufacturing) finished good flows and resolve issues, as needed
- Work with third-party Transportation Management System (TMS) provider to enhance network management processes and to identify financial / service opportunities
- Provide Transportation subject matter expertise to guide regional strategic growth plans
