The Role

Regional Lean Supply Supervisor - Tucker, GA, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM


Pay range: $80,700+ per year

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Reporting to the Regional Material Manager; this position drives implementation of lean supply management principles within the Regional Laboratory network including materials/supplies movement and replenishment to point of use in the laboratory. Manage cycle count and daily replenishment routines interacting with the laboratory staff to assure material availability. 

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement standard business processes for managing material flow for all facility types in assigned Region including Laboratories, RRL, PSC, IOP etc. 
  • Standardized business processes in receiving, shipping, warehousing, operations and laboratory replenishment planning across the laboratory and in concert with Corporate Standards 
  • Lead internal work teams in the continuous improvement of Supply replenishment processes focused overall cost and cycle time reduction.  
  • Conducts regular physical inventory and cycle counts to assure accuracy of on-hand inventories  
  • Coordinates inventories as required on remote sites (PSC, RRL etc) 
  • Manage multiple warehouses across a large geographical area.  
  • Manages laboratory re-supply team and warehouse employees 
  • Drive implementation of visual management tools (e.g. Kanban)  and mistake-proof initiatives  (Labels with Photos) 
Qualifications

Required Work Experience:  

  • Minimum 4-6 years of laboratory or manufacturing, warehouse inventory, supply management experience 
  • Prior supervisory experience is required

Preferred Work Experience:  

  • Supply chain management experience is preferred 

Knowledge:  

  • Proficiency in a variety of software such as Excel, Word, Visio, etc  

Skills:  

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to interact well with all levels of staff, including senior management 
  • Analytical thinker with a continuous improvement mindset 
  • Efficient planning, organizing and project management skills 
  • Proven track record of progressively increased responsibility in all aspects of inventory and supply chain management 

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree Business, Supply Chain or equivalent preferred
  • Associate's Degree (Required)

Licenses and Certifications

  • APICS certification (Preferred)
  • Accredited Purchasing Professional (APP), Certified in Inventory Management (CPIM), or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) (Preferred)
  • Six Sigma Certified Green Belt (Required)
