Overview

The Regional Lead for Vulnerability Response Management is responsible for overseeing vulnerability response and remediation activities across a designated geographic region (e.g., EMEA, Americas, APAC). The role ensures the timely identification, prioritization, escalation, remediation, and reporting of vulnerabilities while maintaining compliance with corporate cyber security standards, regulatory requirements, and remediation SLAs.

The Regional Lead acts as the primary liaison between Global Vulnerability Management, regional technology teams, application owners, infrastructure teams, cloud platforms, risk functions, and senior management to drive vulnerability reduction and improve the organization’s cyber resilience.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the regional vulnerability response function and oversee the activities of Vulnerability Response Managers

  • Ensure serious vulnerabilities are assessed and prioritized according to enterprise standards

  • Drive remediation of serious vulnerabilities and regulatory-relevant vulnerabilities

  • Coordinate regional response to zero-day and actively exploited vulnerabilities

  • Monitor and manage regional vulnerability exposure and risk

  • Act as the senior representative for vulnerability response within the region
     

How You’ll Lead

  • Partner with Technology Leadership (CIOs and Technology Heads) to drive vulnerability remediation, reduce cyber risk exposure, and support business resilience objectives

  • Collaborate with CISO and Security Leadership teams to align regional vulnerability response activities with enterprise cybersecurity strategy, policies, and regulatory requirements

  • Engage with Technology Risk, Audit, and Regulatory stakeholders to ensure effective governance, transparent risk reporting, and successful regulatory examination outcomes

Skills You’ll Need

  • Extensive experience in Vulnerability Management, Cyber Defense, Security Operations, and Cyber Risk Management

  • Proven leadership of geographically dispersed, high-performing teams in complex global organizations

  • Strong track record delivering enterprise-scale vulnerability remediation and risk reduction programs

  • Deep expertise in risk-based vulnerability prioritization and remediation governance

  • Demonstrated leadership, people management, and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Knowledge of key regulatory and security frameworks, including NIST SP 800-40, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, DORA, and FCA/PRA requirements

  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior executives and technical stakeholders

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with experience making risk-based decisions in fast-paced environments

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $100,000 to $157,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
