Location: Central Italy (Tuscany, Umbria, Marche, Abruzzo) – with main focus on Tuscany & Umbria / headoffice : Uffici di Roma
Terms & Conditions: Full-time – Fixed-term contract for 12 months “maternity replacement”, strong field-based role (>75% travel)

Salary Range: €38400 – €52800gross per year

JOB PURPOSE
This role exists to drive growth within Unilever Food Solutions by expanding customer reach, strengthening existing partnerships, and delivering superior customer experiences through data-driven and customer-centric solutions.
You’ll be part of a high-performing and entrepreneurial team that supports chefs and food service operators, helping them thrive while bringing Unilever’s iconic brands to life in the field.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive business growth by expanding the customer portfolio (Reach) and developing existing customers (Grab).
- Deliver on key commercial KPIs (Grip, Grab & Growth) and ensure flawless execution of sales and demo activities in your area.
- Implement effective customer engagement strategies aligned with local sales objectives.
- Leverage secondary sales data to identify and maximize high-impact opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Chef team to design and execute tailored customer activities.
- Lead or contribute to ad-hoc commercial projects as defined by the Sales Leader.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Chefs, Chains, and Sales teams to enable strong channel activation.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar.
- At least 6 months experience in Key Account, Sales, Trade Marketing, or Promotions.
- Strong analytical mindset and data-driven approach.
- Strong negotiation skills and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: You challenge the status quo, spot opportunities, and thrive in ambiguity.
- Agile, proactive, and a natural problem solver.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent in Italian and good command of English.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of Power BI and/or eCommerce tools is a plus.
- Connector: You build bridges across teams, partners, and projects.
- Customer-centric: You understand out-of-home dynamics and chefs’ real needs.
- Continuous learner: You stay curious and keep evolving your digital and commercial skills.
- Culinary experience is a plus.

The compensation package and contractual level will be defined based on the candidate’s experience, technical skills, and seniority, as well as in alignment with internal equity principles.
