ispaceUS is looking for a Regional IT Manager to oversee IT operations in US regions and reports to the Global IT Director. Key responsibilities include managing IT infrastructure and budgets, aligning strategic plans with global objectives, maintaining compliance with regulations, and ensuring effective disaster recovery and change management.
This person will lead the regional IT team, oversee project execution, provide user support and training, and focus on innovation and staffing. By fulfilling these roles, they help enhance operational efficiency and drive technological advancement for ispace and our missions
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure/Dev-Ops Management: Ensure reliable and secure IT systems.
- Budget Management: Optimize the regional IT budget.
- Strategic Planning: Align IT initiatives with global objectives and regulations.
- Configuration Management: Maintain an updated inventory of IT assets.
- Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and test regional disaster recovery plans.
- Change Management: Conduct meetings and ensure policy compliance.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the regional IT team.
- Project Management: Oversee IT projects and communicate risks.
- User Support and Training: Provide support and training for end-users and staff.
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to regulations and manage data privacy risks.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs for IT operations.
- Innovation: Evaluate and implement new technologies.
- Staffing: Maintain adequate IT staffing and comply with local labor laws.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science. We will consider a combination of equivalent experience and education.
- 10 years+ experience in information technology
- 5+ years experience in leadership
- Experience with AWS, Dev-Ops, Docker, cloud solutions
- Experience with NIST and or ISO security frameworks
- Great communication and team building skills
- Proven track record, aerospace a plus but not required
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary based upon experience - $145,000-$155,000. The salary posted is a targeted range for budget of position. Base compensation can be negotiated and will be commensurate with experience, skills, education, and training.

ispace is a lunar exploration company with a vision to extend human presence to outer space.
