Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
- Responsible for the timely and successful installation of KLA products at customer sites. This primarily includes the scheduling of resources and the management of the overall installation (Tier1) and post Installation (Tier-2) process.
- Directly manages a team of Product Install Engineers and Application Engineers, provides directions to employees according to established policies and management guidance
- Oversee installation performance to ensure projects are completed according to plan. Proactively escalate issues to the appropriate functional groups and collaborate with HQ and Technical Support to resolve technical escalations, ensuring timely Warranty Start.
- Escalate installation activities to the KLA Service Product Install Manager as needed. Schedule and participate in SAMs and communicate project status to all stakeholders and upper management.
- Engage frequently with subordinates, customers, and management-level peers, delivering technical presentations on project status, schedules, and outcomes.
- Drive achievement of strategic objectives, including Cost of Install, Cost of Pre-warranty, Install Cycle Time, On-Time Install, and OOBQ.
- Manage costs through effective resource allocation, installation case management, and cross-charge oversight.
- Review installation documentation (eQuality checklists, NCs, pass downs) for accuracy and completeness.
- Attend meetings and prepare presentations and reports for KLA Service HQ and local Operations Management, providing clear updates on business status.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS/MS degree with applicable experience.
- 3-5 years of work experience in supporting comparable capital equipment for the semiconductor industry is required.
- Project management and organizational skills
- Written and oral communication is both clear and concise
- Superior presentation skills.
- Good interpersonal/communication skills in understanding customer needs.
