Join Our Team as a Regional Injury Management Advisor based in Murarrie, QLD.

Are you an Allied Health professional, passionate about safety, work and non-work related injury management, and helping people return to work? At Toll, we're looking for a dedicated professional to join our team in Queensland as a Regional Injury Management Advisor. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in promoting early injury recovery and sustainable return-to-work outcomes, all while aligning with Toll's core values of safety, people, customer focus, and operational excellence.

This position forms part of our broader Group Health and Safety team and will develop and promote injury management strategies focused on early injury recovery and sustainable return to work outcomes. Your remit involves providing support and coaching to line managers, developing and monitoring individualized Injury management plans, conducting workplace rehabilitation assessments, coordinating with medical practitioners and external providers, and delivering training to foster a culture of proactive injury management and early intervention.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engage with the business to implement and maintain effective injury management, RTW and injury management strategy

  • Develop and implement injury management and return-to-work strategies to achieve early and sustainable outcomes.

  • Create, monitor, and review individual injury management plans for complex injuries, ensuring effective RTW plans are in place.

  • Coach and support managers in identifying suitable duties and developing return-to-work strategies for injured workers.

  • Coordinate and attend case conferences with injured workers, medical professionals, and stakeholders to address barriers and update plans.

  • Conduct workplace rehabilitation assessments, and provide guidance on treatment, job modifications, and decision-making.

  • Review treatment plans, manage providers, and engage stakeholders to ensure effective, cost-efficient injury management and compliance.

To be successful in this role your qualifications and experience will include:

  • Relevant qualification in allied health, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, nursing, or a related field.

  • Review and update State Task Analysis Register.

  • Experience in injury management, return-to-work coordination, and workers' compensation, ideally in a large or complex organization.

  • Strong knowledge of QLD workers' compensation legislation, injury management, and rehabilitation processes.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills for case assessment, injury management planning, and evaluating treatment options.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize tasks, and deliver training on injury management and compliance.

  • Proficiency in case management software (SOLV desirable) and demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement in injury management practices.
