Regional Indirect Category Manager

We are hiring immediately for a Regional Indirect Category Manager - a role that is critical in making sure our customers get the electricity, heating and cooling they need.

We are looking for a background in power generation goods and services to support Aggreko’s North American operations. This role is key to driving cost efficiencies, supplier performance, and operational reliability through strategic sourcing and category leadership. You will manage critical indirect categories that support our fleet, field service operations, and infrastructure—including mechanical parts, engines, generators, maintenance services, and plant-related expenditure.

What you’ll do:

• Act as the single point of contact for procurement on behalf of the project covering North Assist the buyer learning the role and providing coverage when needed onboarding vendors.
• Assist fleet manager learning de role and assisting with admin tasks such as answering fleet requisitions from the field including certificate of insurance and accident claims.
• Develop and implement category strategies for power generation equipment, service contracts, spare parts, and plant services supporting Aggreko’s modular power fleet.
• Support multiple Category managers on the indirect procurement side.
• Partner with internal stakeholders across Operations, Fleet Engineering, Field Services, and HSE to understand technical requirements and ensure alignment with procurement strategy.
• Manage supplier performance through structured KPIs, quality reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify cost savings opportunities and value levers through spend analytics
• Support business continuity by identifying and mitigating supply risks, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality service from vendors.

​​We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or procurement
• 5+ years of experience in indirect procurement administration
• Strong background in Excel and reporting
• Familiarity with energy or power generation industry contracts is highly desirable.
• Experienced in procurement of goods and services ideally gathered from a range of different buying categories
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and stakeholder communication.
