Volare Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Human Resource Generalist to support our growing portfolio of skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers. This position plays a critical role in ensuring HR compliance, supporting facility leadership teams, training Payroll Benefit Coordinators (PBCs), and promoting employee engagement and retention across multiple locations.

Position SummaryThe Regional Human Resource Generalist provides comprehensive human resources support to assigned facilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations while serving as a key resource for facility leadership and Payroll Benefit Coordinators. This role supports payroll processes, employee relations, recruitment and retention initiatives, leave administration, and workforce compliance.
Essential ResponsibilitiesTrain and support new and existing Payroll Benefit Coordinators (PBCs) on company policies, procedures, and HR best practices.
Provide payroll service management and troubleshooting support.
Assist with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) administration and tracking.
Conduct personnel file audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company requirements.
Attend facility meetings, employee trainings, and leadership meetings as needed.
Support recruitment and retention initiatives and participate in facility staffing calls.
Assist with Workers’ Compensation and Unemployment claims management.
Partner with facility leadership to promote employee engagement and compliance.
Travel regularly to assigned facilities, including occasional overnight stays.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
College coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
HR Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) preferred.
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment.
Human Resources and payroll experience strongly preferred.
Experience utilizing ADP payroll systems required.
Multi-site healthcare experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Ability and willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions.
