Job Description SummaryThe Regional General Counsel, Americas Sales will be a key member of GE Aerospace’s Global Sales Legal leadership team, serving as the senior legal leader for the Customer Services/Customer Experience (CS/CX) business in a critical region. You will shape commercial strategy, guide major campaigns and disputes, and mitigate legal, commercial and reputational risk. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you will influence the direction of the Legal & Compliance function, bringing deep expertise in commercial aerospace and strong business acumen across multiple P&Ls.
You will work closely with business leaders, customers, local entities and other stakeholders to deliver outstanding service while providing professional development and career growth opportunities for your team. As part of the regional leadership team, you’ll help drive the region’s strategy with customers, suppliers, partners and employees while also embracing FLIGHT DECK to drive continuous improvement and employee and customer satisfaction.Job DescriptionRole & Responsibilities

This candidate will be required to ensure the effective provision of the full range of legal services to GE Aerospace’s CS/CX business across the Americas Sales region, with a primary focus on:

  • Strategic Business Partnering. Serving as the senior legal partner for the CS/CX business across the Americas region. Supporting commercial strategy, key campaigns, disputes and strategic negotiations. Providing practical legal and commercial guidance to senior leaders to enable business goals while mitigating risk, and bringing regional insight and perspective to business and functional strategy.
  • Legal Risk, Compliance & Commercial Leadership. Leading legal support for complex commercial, contractual and dispute matters. Anticipating, identifying and resolving legal, commercial and reputational risks. Influencing commercial policies, governance and processes in support of CS/CX and CES, and managing outside counsel and legal service providers to deliver timely, high-quality support.
  • Market Insight & Cross-Functional Influence. Applying deep aerospace industry knowledge and awareness of market, customer, competitor and regulatory developments. Partnering across P&Ls, functions and external stakeholders to drive aligned outcomes, and using strong judgment, communication and executive presence to influence decisions and solve complex problems.
  • Team Leadership & Operational Excellence. Leading and developing a small team of experienced professionals and mentoring broader regional talent. Managing the regional CS/CX legal budget, including purchased services and outside counsel spend. Fostering a proactive, collaborative and results-oriented culture, driving continuous improvement, and modeling FLIGHT DECK behaviors within the function.
Required Qualifications
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school, or equivalent JD/LLB/LLM.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years post-qualification legal experience, with a major emphasis on commercial/corporate transactions, disputes and business advisory work.
  • Member in good standing with the relevant State Bar, or admitted to practice in a relevant jurisdiction within the Americas.

  • Ability to drive continuous improvement across the team, while managing the regional CS/CX legal budget and outside counsel spend effectively.
