The Gaming Manager LATAM has the responsibility to establish Red Bull as a strong consumer-focused brand through gaming initiatives.
This person will support countries’ Sports and Media Network Managers on setting up the right priorities, playgrounds and opportunities in their local gaming scenes. Mapping potential relevant names for players, streamers and creators and supporting on leveraging their connection with Red Bull.
The Gaming Manager will also be responsible for developing regional initiatives (events and content) to impact markets across Latin America.
Job Description
REGIONAL APPROACH
- Build and implement a strong regional Gaming strategy – guaranteeing strategic alignment with HQ.
- Negotiation, management and activation of LATAM streamers, creators and players.
- Come up with new ideas for the region – events and content.
- Seamless execution of LATAM gaming initiatives.
- Close collaboration with Media Network regional team to come up with impactful gaming related content pieces for all channels.
- Align the program and its activations / opportunities with the Media Network, Sales, Legal and Brand teams to ensure clarity of message and clear communication.
COUNTRIES’ SUPPORT
- Support countries’ Sports and Media Network Managers on setting up the right strategy, priorities and opportunities in their local gaming scenes.
- Work close to the markets for correct implementation of the projects and deliverables with the goal to maximize the gaming program results and to guarantee strategic alignment with HQ.
- Foster synergies across markets and leverage content.
Qualifications
- Good knowledge of the gaming scene in LATAM.
- Previous experience working professionally within the gaming / e-sports industry or related businesses, media and event production, gaming institutions or brands (with clear gaming / e-sports affinity).
- A history of working with players, streamers, creators, contracts and content creation as well as dealing with brand partnerships.
- Clear understanding of global entertainment, gaming industry, including legal and licensing.
- Good marketing and country’s relationship understanding (people, habits, trends, etc.).
- Strong project management skills (team of specialists, leading external agencies, production companies, freelancers, etc.), presentation and motivational skills.
- Creative and innovative mindset, open to new things.
- Excellent organisational and project planning/management skills coupled with the ability to work in a team.
- A strong ability to write, present, and articulate ideas clearly.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is a must
- University Degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, Communications or similar areas.
- 25 – 50% work time travel availability (varies along the year).
