Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage cost accounting processes, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights to support business decision-making and drive performance improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Mentor and develop a team of 20 finance professionals, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and development.
- Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the Controlling function to enhance accuracy and streamline processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in financial controlling, with a focus on reporting, cost accounting, planning, and FP&A.
- Experience in a multinational company and industrial environment is required.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal, is mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience leading a diverse team of finance professionals.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in financial systems and software, with advanced Excel skills
