This role will bridge a gap between strategic market intelligence/sensing and the regional implementation of market strategy and campaigns.
The role of Agilent’s Business Intelligence Team is to provide market and customer insights to characterize new markets, support the development and execution of marketing strategy, and use internal and external data sources to inform business decisions.
We are looking for a Regional Field Marketing Intelligence Analyst to conduct market research and gathering market intelligence, trends, and competitive position as well as to curate, synthesize and translate this information into actionable insights to inform business decisions and further strengthen and support a customer-centric culture at Agilent.
To undertake this role, you will have proven market research and intelligence gathering experience, knowledge of the analytical tools industry as well as an understanding of the technologies and segmentation used across different end-markets (Pharma/Biopharma, Food, Environmental, Chemical, Energy, Materials & Forensics, Diagnostics).
Key job responsibilities include:
In Depth Market Sensing and Research

Analyze industry, financial, competitor and investor reports.

Collect and analyze field sales, customer, and industry feedback and trends.

Leverage the global business intelligence team to create EMEA specific business insights.

Deep dive into market, government/funding, competitor, and other reports, to collect actionable account, customer, or market information.
Regional Field Marketing Support

Support strategic marketing program development by providing actionable customer insight.

Monitor and provide input on access to regional government funding opportunities.
-
Provide support to characterize strategic regional accounts / institutions.

Quarterly local competitor analysis (positioning, structure, initiatives).
Market Analysis, Updates, and Reporting

Regular analysis and reporting on key EMEA’s end markets, competitors, investment trends and regulations.

Provide actionable insights to support EMEA marketing and sales programs.

Provide input to business intelligence teams for investor calls, executive reports and global marketing reporting.
Qualifications

Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
-
5+ years of experience in conducting marketing research, analysis and reporting projects.

Strong understanding of Agilent’s technology and its application to testing in the major markets of Applied (Food, Environmental, Energy, Chemical, Forensics, Materials), Pharma, Biopharma and Diagnostics.

Excellent research, analytical, data interpretation and reporting skills.

Strong analytical and critical thinking.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Excellent knowledge of analytical software, and strong proficiency with MS Office .

Strong knowledge of data collection and data mining methods.

Familiarity with survey tools, CRM programs, and databases.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to collaborate with external and internal customers and stakeholders across various management levels.
