The Regional Equipment Administrator is responsible for overseeing the availability, condition, utilization, and movement of company-owned equipment across assigned locations. This role serves as the primary regional point of contact for equipment coordination, ensuring assets are deployed efficiently, maintained properly, and aligned with operational needs, safety standards, and budgetary goals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the allocation, transfer, and redeployment of equipment across regional locations to meet operational demands.
  • Monitor equipment utilization and recommend redistribution or right-sizing to optimize asset usage.
  • Serve as the regional liaison between operations, maintenance, and corporate equipment management teams.
  • Maintain accurate equipment records including location, status, condition, and utilization.
  • Support inventory audits and reconciliation of equipment assets.
  • Track new equipment deliveries, retirements, disposals, and swaps.
  • Work with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is properly serviced, inspected, and ready for deployment.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance compliance by supporting equipment availability.
  • Coordinate transportation of equipment between sites.
  • Ensure moves are scheduled efficiently and comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate timelines and expectations to stakeholders.
  • Provide recommendations to leadership based on data and operational trends.
  • Respond to urgent equipment needs and resolve conflicts between locations.

Job Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required Experience:

  • Equipment background and comprehension abilities
  • Experience working with multiple projects simultaneously in conjunction with internal teams in a task driven time sensitive environment
  • Customer service oriented with internal and external entities
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel), SAP, and SAP FM
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with proficiency in detailed record keeping
  • Disciplined to established processes
  • Very detail oriented
