Your Role
We are seeking a forward-thinking Regional Emerging Technologies Lead to join our SW Design Technology Team. This role is critical in exploring, developing, and implementing cutting-edge technologies and methodologies that will enhance our design processes and project outcomes. The ideal candidate will be a visionary strategist with a strong background in technology, that will challenge our existing processes with innovative solutions and thought-provoking ideas that push our boundaries. Expertise in storytelling and proven success in sharing and implementing new ideas, will be essential in communicating the value and impact of emerging technologies across the region.

What You Will Do

Conduct research on emerging design technologies and trends in the industry.

Identify and recommend technology solutions and workflows that address needs expressed by our clients and design practitioners.

Develop and prototype new tools, software, and methodologies to enhance design efficiency and effectiveness.

Collaborate with project teams to deploy best-in-class project-specific technology solutions to provide unparalleled design excellence to our clients.

Collaborate with architects and designers to integrate innovative solutions into project workflows.

Act as a strategist to align technology solutions and research efforts with project goals and regional/organizational objectives.

Collaborate with the firm’s broader functional structure and act as the regional representative for emerging technologies.

Prepare and present reports, proposals, and findings to stakeholders.
Your Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design Technology, Computer Science, design field or relevant academic or work experience.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in R&D, Design Technology or related Innovation roles.

Solid experience with emerging technologies around parametric and computational design, digital fabrication, visualization, Artificial Intelligence, etc.

Strong knowledge of both hardware and software technologies.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively and critically.

Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. Expertise in storytelling and experience-focused communication, with a demonstrated ability to use these skills to convey innovative ideas for diverse audiences.

*This is not a remote position. The successful candidate is expected to be in the office.*
**The base salary range will be estimated between $130,000 - $150,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
