Job Summary



This position manages safety programs, compliance requirements based on OSHA and Carlisle safety policies for assigned CAM facilities. The position is based in Baltimore and supports Levittown, Manchester, and Tampa Bay.



Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ensure compliance at assigned facilities with all appropriate OSHA and state safety regulations and reporting and accountability systems.
  • Conduct comprehensive policy audits and maintain all OSHA and PSM recordkeeping requirements.
  • Prepare, implement, and execute safety and OSHA required training, both awareness and authorization, for new hires and current employees on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Investigate all incident reports for trends, lead serious lost-time and recordable investigations, and drive the development of necessary corrective actions.
  • Track OSHA recordable incidents, rates and trends and regularly report safety performance measures to CAM EHS Manager.
  • Strategic planning to insure potential environmental and safety consequences of manufacturing processes are considered.
  • Serve as the primary advisor with regards to all safety and site compliance programs and projects.
  • Conduct safety awareness training for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Partner with COS to support continuous improvement initiatives and increase the use of lean manufacturing tools and techniques for safety and operations.
  • Conduct audits to ensure sustainment and completion of safety improvement initiatives.
  • Attend required management team meetings, safety committee meeting, and continuous improvement meetings/projects.
  • Ensure the proper storage and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes.
  • Training, management, and development of Site Safety Specialists.
  • Training and development of Safety Champions at each assigned facility.

Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of all applicable government safety regulations and plant specific safety policies.
  • OSHA compliance training and good understanding of PSM standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Solid problem-solving skills, experience in utilizing accelerated root cause methods.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management, team building, and systems sustainment skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required. Safety Management degree preferred.
  • Three to five years of prior experience in a manufacturing safety management role.

Equipment Used:

  • Standard office equipment.

Working Conditions:

  • Manufacturing environment with some exposure to the outdoors.
  • Monday – Friday 8 AM to 5 PM.
  • Overtime may be required if workload dictates.

Travel Requirement:

  • Up to 40% travel to assigned locations.

As a Regional EHS Coordinator, you will be entitled to the following: 

  • The Salary Range for this position is $64,629 to $116,333
  • The final base compensation offered is based on educational achievements, professional experience, other qualifying factors & skillsets, and internal equity. While Carlisle Companies Inc is committed to Pay Transparency with this range, understand that candidates should not necessarily expect to see an offer near the top end of the posted range. 
  • When conducting business while on travel, a company credit card is provided to be used for all eligible expenses incurred.
