Position Summary:
Responsible for the direct supervision, mentorship, support and success of assigned On-Site, High-End
Condominium Communities/Managers.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop a working relationship with Developer Clients and Homeowner Boards through regularly scheduled interactions and meetings.
  • Attend Board, Annual, Committee, and other meetings as needed with assigned Onsite Managers.
  • Assist Managers and Clients to ensure compliance with State, Federal, and Association Management Statutes.
  • Participate in interviews, hiring, terminations, training, and placement of Community Managers, and related onsite staff.
  • Provide input for staff assignments in assigned condominiums.
  • Evaluate employees and complete annual reviews. As applicable, communicate with boards regarding annual increases for assigned staff, and communicate through appropriate channels for execution.
  • Provide leadership, direction, training, mentoring, coaching, support, supervision and development to assigned Community Managers, condominium staff and other assigned direct reports.
  • Ensure compliance with established AAM policies and procedures, including but not limited to, annual meetings, corporate records, board packets, collection activities, board reporting, communication, transitions, financial statements and staffing.
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures for condominium maintenance and operations.
  • Assist manager as needed in reviewing, proofreading and approving mailings, notices, newsletters, etc.
  • Assist staff in the proper preparation and presentation of Board and Annual Meetings.
  • Handle escalated homeowner issues as required. Report resolutions to superiors and to the Board of Directors as required.
  • Other related duties as directed.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills: outgoing & communicative, socially oriented, poised, effective in groups,
    articulate, persuasive in expression, strong public speaker.
  • Self-direction. Capacity to set personal priorities, follow-up and report as required.
  • Ability to motivate staff.
  • Time Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience working with high-end Condominiums or other entities that involve knowledge and enforcement of Governing Documents as well as knowledge of maintenance and operations of complex Condominium systems and facilities.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Utilizing a computer in an office setting, utilizing personal vehicle for travel involved and able to walk or move around properties and necessary.
  • Must be able to work evening and weekends as needed for meetings and emergencies.
Qualifications Education Required High School or better. Experience Required Proven success in a Condominium Community Management/Supervisory role. Experience with both the Development Phase/Declarant Control Period and Homeowner Board Controlled High-End Condominiums. Strong background in customer service, conflict resolution, budgeting, financial administration, HR, personnel management, technology, and accounting, preferably in the HOA industry. Skills Required

  • High school diploma or higher
  • Proven success in condominium community management in a supervisory role
  • Experience with Development Phase/Declarant Control Period and Homeowner Board controlled high-end condominiums
  • Knowledge of governing documents and maintenance/operations of complex condominium systems and facilities
  • Strong background in customer service and conflict resolution
  • Budgeting and financial administration experience
  • HR and personnel management experience, including hiring and evaluations
  • Technology and accounting experience
  • Experience in HOA/association industry (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel using personal vehicle
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for meetings and emergencies
  • Excellent interpersonal, public speaking, coaching, mentoring and supervisory skills
