We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Regional Director of Sales to lead our expansion efforts across South America, with a strong emphasis on the Financial Services sector. This leadership role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and deepening relationships with enterprise clients and channel partners throughout the region.

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in B2B sales, particularly within financial and professional services, and possess a deep understanding of cloud technologies, risk management, and compliance solutions. This role requires bilingual fluency in Spanish and English, and a strong grasp of regional market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

Market Development & Strategy

  • Lead go-to-market strategy for cloud and professional services across South America.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with global objectives.

Client & Partner Engagement

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key financial institutions, enterprise clients, and strategic partners.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments to tailor solutions to client pain points.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

Solution Selling

  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and present customized cloud, risk, and AML solutions.
  • Articulate the business value of offerings in a compelling and consultative manner.
  • Deliver impactful presentations and demos to C-level stakeholders.

Sales Execution & Pipeline Management

  • Own and exceed regional sales targets and bookings quota.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline through proactive prospecting and account development.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and regular reporting on sales performance.

Contract Negotiation & Closing

  • Lead proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure favorable terms for both clients and the organization.

Customer Success & Retention

  • Partner with customer success and support teams to ensure high satisfaction and long-term value.
  • Address client concerns promptly and effectively to maintain strong relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of B2B sales experience, with a strong focus on Financial Services.
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies, risk and compliance solutions.
  • Proven success in managing complex sales cycles and closing high-value deals.
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are a plus.
