We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Regional Director of Sales to lead our sales teams across multiple territories. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to drive revenue growth, develop market strategies, and foster strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in sales management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for achieving targets.

The Regional Director of Sales will partner closely with General Managers, Directors of Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing, and corporate leadership to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, group business, negotiated corporate business, and overall hotel profitability.

This position serves as a strategic sales leader and resource to assigned hotels, identifying opportunities, removing barriers to revenue growth, strengthening sales talent, and ensuring consistent execution of company sales standards and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets

- Lead, motivate, and manage sales teams across multiple locations

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners

- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities

- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives

- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for executive leadership

- Conduct training and development programs to enhance team skills and performance

- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities


Working Conditions: 

This position requires frequent travel between assigned hotels and may require overnight travel, attendance at industry events, client functions, conferences, and other business-related activities. The position may require flexible working hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

This is a fully office-based, onsite position. The Regional Director of Sales is expected to work from the Company's McKinney Headquarters office during regular business hours and is not eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement. Frequent business travel will be required to visit assigned hotels, meet with clients, attend industry events, participate in sales activities, and support company initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive hospitality sales experience, with significant multi-property or regional sales leadership experience preferred.
  • Proven success leading hotel sales teams and achieving revenue objectives.
  • Strong understanding of hotel sales, revenue management, forecasting, market segmentation, and competitive analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic sales plans.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate, group, leisure, government, and other relevant hospitality market segments.
  • Experience with hotel sales and CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively coach, influence, and hold leaders accountable.
  • Ability to travel frequently between assigned properties and markets. 

Skills Required
