The Role
As our Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, you will provide sales and marketing leadership for a portfolio of hospitality properties. Reporting to senior commercial leadership, you will be responsible for developing and executing revenue-generating strategies that increase occupancy, ADR, market share, and overall hotel profitability.
You'll lead regional sales and marketing initiatives, mentor property-level sales leaders, and partner closely with Operations, Revenue Management, and Executive Leadership to ensure commercial success across the portfolio.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead regional sales and marketing strategy across a multi-property hotel portfolio
- Develop and execute market-specific commercial plans to drive occupancy, ADR, and revenue growth
- Coach, mentor, and support Directors of Sales and Sales Managers throughout the region
- Partner with Revenue Management to align pricing, segmentation, and demand-generation strategies
- Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and performance metrics to identify opportunities
- Drive group, corporate, leisure, and specialty segment business development initiatives
- Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting for assigned hotels
- Strengthening relationships with key clients, brand partners, ownership groups, and industry organizations
- Ensure consistency in sales processes, CRM utilization, and account management practices
- Collaborate with Marketing teams to develop strategic campaigns, digital initiatives, and promotional activities
- Lead hotel sales strategy meetings, business reviews, and commercial planning sessions
- Support new hotel openings, transitions, acquisitions, and repositioning efforts
- Champion best practices, training, and commercial excellence across the portfolio
- Monitor and drive achievement of revenue goals, market share objectives, and profitability targets
