Job Summary:

TheraCare Home Health is seeking a strategic and results-driven Regional Director of Sales to lead growth initiatives across multiple markets. In this leadership role, you will oversee business development operations, manage and develop sales teams, and execute high-impact marketing strategies to drive patient census growth. This position is ideal for an experienced home health sales leader with a proven ability to build referral networks, lead teams, and consistently exceed performance goals in competitive markets.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of home health experience with business development focus
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales leadership experience in home health
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience managing and developing sales teams
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding admission and census growth goals
  • Strong understanding of home health, long-term care, and referral sources including hospitals, SNFs, physician practices, and community partners
  • Experience developing and executing multi-market sales and marketing strategies
  • Ability to analyze market trends, referral patterns, and growth opportunities
  • Demonstrated success in training, coaching, and mentoring business development staff
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/lead tracking systems
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based leadership role
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Essential Functions:

  • Lead and execute business development and marketing strategies to drive patient census growth across assigned markets
  • Manage, coach, and develop Business Development teams to achieve performance goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources including hospitals, physicians, SNFs, and community organizations
  • Identify and act on market trends, competitive insights, and growth opportunities
  • Maintain and grow patient census and quality mix in alignment with company objectives
  • Collaborate with operational and clinical leadership to support market expansion and service line growth
  • Oversee development and execution of marketing campaigns, outreach initiatives, and community engagement efforts
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of business development staff
  • Monitor and manage lead tracking systems, referral pipelines, and conversion performance
  • Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights to improve conversion ratios and market performance
  • Ensure alignment between sales, operations, and clinical teams for effective referral-to-admission processes
  • Represent the organization professionally within the community and healthcare networks

Continuing Education:

  • Attends in-service and continuing education programs required for maintenance of any professional certification or licensure.
  • Attends continuing education programs as necessary.
