• Develop a strong understanding of market strategy, industry trends, and customer needs in the gateway and acceptance landscape, including PSPs, payment facilitators, acquirers, and merchants.
• Lead the product pipeline development for MPGS in Asia Pacific—identifying opportunities in collaboration with financial institution account teams, market development teams, and Customer Solution Centers.
• Oversee the full product management lifecycle, including positioning, roadmap planning (24–36 months), intake coordination, feature development, technical onboarding, pricing, billing, sales enablement, and solution support.
• Monitor and report on critical performance indicators through dashboards and operational reviews.
• Support regional planning and opportunity identification by collaborating with account teams and empowering solution specialists.
• Shape market value propositions based on customer insights and research; develop go-to-market strategies that clearly differentiate Mastercard in the acceptance space.
• Provide market intelligence and product requirements to global Product Development and specialist teams.
• Lead a team of product managers focused on core gateway processing, value-added services (VAS), domestic enablement, alternate payment methods (APMs), and omnichannel capabilities.
• Drive strategies to enhance ecosystem value, increase acceptance usage, and grow acquiring-related revenues through cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications and Experience
• Deep understanding of the gateway and acceptance ecosystem, preferably with experience in the Asia Pacific market.
• Prior experience in the payments, e-commerce, or acceptance services industry—ideally within a large PSP, acquirer, or similar organization.
• Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with financial data and performance metrics.
• Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders on business strategy and drive commercial outcomes
• Leadership experience managing teams and working in a matrixed environment.
• Strong consultative and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage technology and innovation to deliver results.
