Position Summary:

 

The Regional Director of Operations position is responsible for the operational excellence assigned restaurants in a specified geographical area. The RDO provides leadership and guidance to the restaurant management team and team members through promoting and maintaining all operating standards, processes and recipes of Pei Wei Asian Kitchen.

 

Essential Functions:
* Take a hands-on management approach with all team members and 6 to 9 restaurants to drive the vision, brand and direction of our Company
* Accountable for all functional areas within assigned region including full P&L, FOH/BOH Operations, Sales, Accounting and Human Resources
* Hire great talent for your locations
* Coach, train and support restaurant managers and team members on the service model, menu execution, systems and program implementation
* Set and uphold standards, goals and strategies Focus on problem solving and process improvement by leveraging restaurant management in each location
* Motivate and recognize restaurant managers and their teams for their accomplishments

 

Requirements:
Education/Work Experience:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Bachelor's Degree preferred
* Computer literacy and financial management experience
* Experience in a multi-unit leadership role in the restaurant industry

Experience:
* 2 years of previous multi-unit management experience in a restaurant, retail, hospitality or similar environment
* 2 years of Pei Wei General Manager experience (Internal Candidates)

Working Conditions:
* Work is performed primarily in a restaurant environment with home office setting
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.
* Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 10 pounds) during the course of the workday
