About the Role

We are seeking a personable, self-motivated, and results-driven Regional Director of Business Development to oversee and expand multiple markets for our affiliated wound care practices.

This is an in-office leadership role focused on driving strategic growth within skilled nursing facilities and long-term care environments. The ideal candidate will be highly comfortable with outbound business development, relationship cultivation, and market research, while also collaborating closely with physicians and advanced practice providers.

This role requires a strong sales mentality, structured CRM reporting, and the ability to develop executive-level relationships within nursing home organizations and corporate parent groups.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Relationship Development
  • Build and maintain relationships with nursing home administrators, regional operators, and C-level executives.

  • Develop partnerships with corporate or parent-level decision makers.

  • Strengthen relationships with physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants within assigned markets.

Market Expansion & Lead Generation
  • Execute sales and marketing strategies to expand wound care services in assigned territories.

  • Conduct heavy outbound calls, email outreach, and structured market research.

  • Generate and nurture qualified leads through consistent follow-up.

  • Identify new facilities and expansion opportunities.

Operations & Physician Coordination
  • Collaborate with clinicians to align logistics and service delivery within facilities.

  • Assist with territory planning and provider coverage optimization.

  • Support onboarding of new facility relationships from contract to go-live.

CRM & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate same-day documentation in CRM.

  • Provide weekly reporting on outreach metrics, meetings completed, pipeline status, and growth initiatives.

  • Track key performance indicators and territory progress.

Industry Engagement
  • Represent the company at regional trade shows and wound care conferences when scheduled.

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive threats, and expansion opportunities.


RequirementsEducation & Experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of regional or multi-site sales management experience.

  • Required experience selling into skilled nursing facilities or long-term care environments.

  • Demonstrated success in healthcare business development.

  • Experience working alongside physicians or clinical service lines preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); CRM experience required.
