Responsibilities
- Partner with the Operations team to implement new NetSuite automations and best-practices in the Merchant AP process.
- Working along different departments such as treasury, finance, etc.
- Manage vendor information and input new vendors in NetSuite.
- Communicate with merchants to resolve issues fulfilling purchase orders in NetSuite.
- Prepare batches for payment in NetSuite, and partner with the financial analyst to estimate weekly cash flows.
- Maintain the merchant AP and AR ledgers in NetSuite and resolve overdue receivables and payables.
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to month-end balances.
- Help build out a process to reconcile and report on cash balances weekly.
- Partner with the external accounting team on month-end close by managing information requests and resolving outstanding issues.
- Reconcile and book complex or non-standard transactions in NetSuite.
- Manage tax compliance checklists and SAT audit requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting. A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
- 12-15 years of experience in public accounting or in a role managing a high-volume of AP transactions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team toward achieving ambitious goals.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and drive operational excellence.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (v-lookup, pivot tables, etc.). Prior experience working with NetSuite and SQL is a plus.
- Superb attention to detail and time management skills.
