The Regional Business Op’s supports operations teams in achieving sustainable business growth and improving margins by incorporating AI-driven insights, automation and standardized deployment practices. This role provides oversight, governance, visibility, and continuous improvement across the regional deployment delivery teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Support Americas Field Deployment team to drive improvement across all relevant KPI’s
- Lead structured onboarding programs for all Deployment Resources (Technicians, Deployment Managers and Coordinators)
- Drive mentoring, knowledge transfer and continuous training cycles
- Enable leadership decision-making through clear, data-driven reporting
- Ensure timely PO creation and invoicing to ensure accurate program financials are accurate
- Drive collaboration across all deployment support teams to maximize efficiency and cost recovery
- Prepare and maintain accurate regional services field resource utilization metrics
- Ensure compliance with Ciena Finance guidance and SOX policies
- Monitor and maintain performance and track key project management KPIs
- Develop automated dashboards and reporting capabilities
- Provide historical performance analysis and trend visibility
- Executive Reporting & QBR Support
- Coach Deployment managers/coordinators regarding operational usage of processes and tools
- Enforce governance through systems such as Salesforce and Kantata
- Lead resource management process and tool improvements
- Support AI-driven workflow automation to reduce DM/DC effort and cycle time
- Drive direct cost savings through process automation
- Conduct capability assessments and identify PM skill development needs

- Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Kantata, Power BI, CPODS/Oracle, MS Project

The annual pay range for this position is $79,900 - $127,700 USD
Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.
Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
