Job Description
Regional Country Controller position overview:
You will review monthly Trial Balances and monthly submission to HQ, prepare Financial Statements, leads External Audits and Tax audits, ensure SOX compliance, act as the "go-to" Finance person for the countries under your responsibility.
You will report to Manager, Accounting & Controlling and work in hybrid model with office in Rotterdam.
Your Responsibilities:
- Responsible for and accurate reporting of financial data for several countries including the preparation of HQ reporting packages
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly and year end close
- Full Country Accounting, Statutory and Tax responsibility
- Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are accurate reconciled
- Primary contact for Our external and internal auditors and other outside financial consultants or authorities
- Ensures compliance with Corporate Finance Policies, SOX and US GAAP
- Collaborate with Internal Control for creation, changing and implementation of financial policies and procedures and financial controls
- Provide technical accounting support and guidance to improve processes.
- Take part in international projects
- Monitor, challenges and specifies improvements to business systems and practices to ensure continual, adequate control and proper measurement of business activities.
- Report on and comments upon movements in actual.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Work experience of at least 1 year in a similar accounting function in an International company
- Higher education in accounting or finance with a accounting emphasis ACCA, CMA, AA, RC, CPA or equivalent
- Fluency in Spanish
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Experience in a Shared Services environment
- Experience - reporting with the MS Dynamics
