We are looking for a Regional Controller who will support the financial operations of the region, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and the accuracy of financial reporting. Working closely with the Global Controller, this role oversees accounting functions, manages financial processes, and provides analysis to support strategic decision-making within the region. The Regional Controller is critical in maintaining financial controls, supporting audits, and driving process improvements to enhance regional financial performance.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting principles
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and data analysis
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- High ethical standards with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity

Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation of regional financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP, local accounting regulations, and other relevant standards
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, providing insights and analysis for management
- Prepare required regulatory reports, including NBP and GUS filings
- Tax Compliance:
- Prepare and manage VAT and CIT declarations in compliance with local tax regulations
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in regional budgeting and forecasting processes, analyzing financial data to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines
- Support long-term financial planning by providing accurate and timely financial projections
- Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard regional assets and ensure the integrity of financial records
- Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with internal policies and financial regulations
- Accounts Payable and Receivable Oversight:
- Manage regional accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Reconcile discrepancies, monitor outstanding balances, and work with the accounting team to resolve issues efficiently
- General Ledger and Month-End Close:
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes for the region, ensuring timely and accurate completion
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjustments to the general ledger
- Audit Preparation and Support:
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing the necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries
- Implement corrective actions based on audit findings to ensure continuous improvement
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures, enhance efficiency, and improve reporting accuracy
- Collaborate with other departments to implement best practices in financial operations
- Implement and oversee KSEF (e-invoicing) systems
- Regional Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analyses, including profitability assessments, cost controls, and trend evaluations to support strategic regional objectives
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance
- Team Management:
- Supervise accounting and payroll teams, ensuring their effective performance and development
