Regional Contract Manufacturing Excellence Lead
Role Summary

Qnity is seeking a Regional Contract Manufacturing Excellence Lead to establish and sustain the standards that govern how we work with our global network of contract manufacturing partners.

The Contract Manufacturing Center of Excellence (CoE) is a focused team responsible for contract manufacturing standards, templates, training, and governance, while business-aligned teams manage partner relationships and day-to-day activities.

In this role, you will own an assigned portfolio of standards across the full contract manufacturing lifecycle, from make-vs-buy decisions and partner selection through qualification, performance management, change management, compliance, and exit. You will help ensure these standards are applied consistently across the organization.

You will also lead enterprise-level make-vs-buy analyses, maintain the program's KPI framework, build capability across the contract manufacturing community, and serve as the CoE's primary subject matter expert for your region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own, develop, and maintain assigned standards within the Contract Manufacturing Standard Process Guide, including related forms, templates, checklists, and evidence requirements, with a focus on continuous improvement and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain expertise across the eight domains of the contract manufacturing lifecycle: strategy and selection; qualification and startup; relationship management; performance and supply reliability; change management; compliance assurance; commercial and information stewardship; and exit and transition.
  • Maintain methodologies for partner risk and equipment assessments, including human rights, confidential information, supply continuity, cybersecurity, and financial health.
  • Partner with Legal, Corporate EHS, and Procurement to ensure agreement templates, EHS standards, and contracting practices remain aligned with contract manufacturing standards.
  • Manage version control, communication, and training for standards and revisions to ensure changes are effectively implemented by the teams responsible for applying them.
  • Conduct due-date and evidence audits to confirm assessments, audits, confidentiality agreements, and contractual obligations remain current, escalating gaps to the appropriate business owner.
  • Periodically audit contract manufacturing processes across businesses, identify systemic gaps, and serve as the CoE interface with Quality, EHS, Regulatory, ESG, and IT on compliance-related matters.
  • Own the make-vs-buy process and supporting tools, coach business teams on their application, and lead documented analyses for enterprise-level decisions, including decisions affecting multiple businesses or transferring volume from a Qnity facility to an external manufacturer.
  • Maintain the partner capability database and identify concentration, redundancy, and supplier-tail risks to help inform network strategy.
  • Maintain the program's KPI framework, metric definitions, dashboards, and data integrity, and report program-level measures including standards adherence, evidence currency, training completion, and cycle times.
  • Develop and deliver training, onboarding, and certification pathways for assigned standards and incorporate lessons learned from startups, incidents, and exits.
  • Serve as the CoE's primary point of contact within the region, providing guidance on complex situations such as new partner setup, technology transfer, significant management-of-change activities, and partner exits.
  • Facilitate readiness gates for new suppliers and activities, confirming required standards are met before startup.
  • Support the CoE Leader with escalations, significant partner incidents, and competing priorities across businesses, while contributing to CoE governance and decision-rights frameworks.
  • Co-lead a regular community of practice for contract manufacturing managers and represent the CoE with external partners when standards or enterprise-level decisions require involvement.

Organizational Relationships
  • Reports to the Contract Manufacturing Center of Excellence Leader.
  • Works through influence with contract manufacturing managers and operations leaders across Qnity's businesses.
  • Partners closely with Procurement, Legal, Corporate EHS, Quality, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, and HR.
  • Works collaboratively with the Regional Contract Manufacturing Excellence Lead in the other region, sharing standards ownership and providing backup coverage.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, contract manufacturing, or supplier quality, including at least 3 years working directly with contract manufacturers.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, writing, or owning standards, procedures, or management-system documentation.
  • 3+ years of project or program management experience; 2+ years of EHS or supplier quality auditing experience preferred.
  • Experience with semiconductor or comparable change-control protocols, management of change, technology transfer, and new product introduction preferred.
  • Strong data and analytical capabilities; experience with Power BI and SAP preferred.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred; Quality or EHS auditor training or ISO 9001 auditor certification is also preferred.
  • CPIM or another ASCM certification preferred.
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in an additional regional language is an advantage.

Competencies and Technical Skills
  • Ability to lead through influence across businesses and functions without direct authority.
  • Ability to translate complex practices into clear, practical standards, templates, and training.
  • Ability to apply standards consistently and objectively across businesses.
  • Strong analytical judgment, critical thinking, and root-cause problem-solving skills.
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in an international, culturally diverse environment across multiple time zones.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt as the operating model continues to evolve.

Work Requirements
  • Positions will be based in the Asia Pacific region and the Americas.
  • Approximately 20–30% travel is expected, including visits to contract manufacturing partner sites and Qnity locations.
  • Flexibility to participate in meetings across global time zones is required.
