Job DescriptionThe Regional CBDM leads Expeditors’ Chinese Business Development function across multiple countries or the assigned sub-region for China and Taiwan customers. This is a player-coach role: the incumbent personally owns strategic, cross-border accounts while being accountable for the collective BD performance of all District/Country CBDMs within the region — setting targets, operating cadence, and building bench strength for the function’s continued growth.

Leadership Responsibilities
● Directly lead and manage District/Country CBDM staff across the assigned GEO coverage — hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development.
● Own and drive the overall CBDM program design, standards, and cadence for the region/sub-region.
● Set regional BD targets and cascade them into district/country-level goals; hold District/Country CBDMs accountable for results.
● Support and partner with the broader regional BD team on cross-border pipeline, key account strategy, and escalations.
● Represent the CBDM function in regional leadership forums and business reviews.
● Build a bench of talent and a repeatable playbook that can be replicated across districts/countries.
Other Responsibilities
● Act as the primary point of contact for customer account management within assigned coverage.
● Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
● Develop trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders and executive sponsors.
● Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions aligned with customer needs.
● Communicate progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to stakeholders.
