We are recruiting for a Regional Category Manager!
The Regional Category Manager will be responsible for managing the Procurement of IT in support of approximately $160 million in spend for Johnson & Johnson Companies. The spend is highly sophisticated in nature and requires close collaboration with key partners within IT, Procurement, Global Services and across businesses to run the category successfully. This individual will identify, develop and implement Procurement goals and strategy. Plan and direct activities that deliver against targets for financial performance, quality, service efficiency and compliance adherence.
He/She is responsible for end-to-end category management such as category strategy development, maintaining key relationships within the businesses and handling key supplier relationships. The position must shape, connect and lead resources to deliver on key projects.
Responsibilities
Driving the Regional vision for the category for, with and through the partner community including, but not limited to, Global IT Procurement, Global Services, Johnson & Johnson Technology (JJT) Technology Services and Business Unit teams.
Developing the strategy and implementation plan for a specific category or categories of spend that will effectively meet the long-range needs of business partners and deliver the maximum value for J&J
Interface directly with supplier leadership to assure alignment of J&J’s objectives are met, including quality, reliability, innovation and cost.
Understands operational considerations. Identifies business demand requirements and partners with Business Engagement Leads to deliver annual value improvements and drives competitive advantage.
Understanding long range requirements of the business partners and engage in strategic planning and partnering to ensure alignment
Deliver on financial, service, reliability, quality, innovation, and growth commitments
Build and maintain relationships throughout J&J that result in dynamic interactive dialogue on a broad range of perspectives and information critical to the development of efficient approaches and solutions
Develop deep supplier relationships with suppliers to include data review and analysis, performance management, improvement of end to end value, and bring innovation to the business
Identify, develop and advise the implementation of Procurement goals and category strategies, based on subject matter expertise, data analysis and understanding external industry/market dynamics
Raise issues that may impact the Global Procurement organization.
Major duties and responsibilities
Develop and execute Procurement strategies that are aligned with the business/sector needs including setting, alignment and execution of Business Plan. Growing spend with Social Enterprises and other Diverse enterprises.
Handle supplier relationships, communicate changes to category strategy, execute joint collaborative initiatives, and partner with the Legal and Supplier Contracting Service
Ensure execution of category strategies to include: sourcing strategy execution, negotiations, contract implementation and performance against established targets in line with GS requirements
Facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of processes, policies, guidelines, content that drive end user efficiency
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of proven experience
Minimum a Bachelor degree
Broad-based understanding of business operations and practices and core Procurement areas of focus (Spend Management: Category Management and Supplier Management).
Demonstrated Leadership, communication, influencing and collaboration skills.
Able to prioritize requests, and propose effective cost/customer service alternatives when needed.
Ability to show judgment in developing innovative approaches and resolving issues
Customer Orientation - building and maintaining positive relationships with amongst others JJT Management and Procurement leadership
Project management skills

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
€79 800,00 - €137 770,00Benefits:
