Job Summary
The Regional Business Manager is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth within an assigned territory. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and expanding market share in the South Central Region. The RBM acts as the primary point of contact for customers and distributors, ensuring high levels of satisfaction while coordinating with internal teams. Extensive travel within the territory is required.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and distributors.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities to increase sales and market share.
• Achieve sales targets and revenue goals while maintaining desired profit margins.
• Coordinate and participate in the installation, delivery, and demonstration of products and services.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including service and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepare accurate sales contracts, quotes, and proposals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, pricing, and competitive activity.
• Utilize CRM and reporting tools to track leads, sales activities, and customer interactions.
• Participate in sales training, meetings, and industry events.
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and professional conduct.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in heavy equipment or industrial solutions.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude; ability to read and understand technical schematics or drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet research tools.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Clean driving record and ability to travel extensively (approximately 50%).
