We are a culture-first organization that works relentlessly to maintain our culture. </p><p>The <strong>Regional Asset Manager</strong> is tasked with overseeing comprehensive asset management, encompassing maintenance-related responsibilities, vendor relationships, repair orders, invoices, billing, scheduling, estimates, and robust data tracking and analysis to optimize overall asset utilization and performance in a designated region.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>● Responsible for managing daily operations of equipment repairs and maintenance</p><p>● Communicate with maintenance vendors to resolve equipment issues</p><p>● Provide proper operational information of equipment as needed</p><p>● Responsible for establishing maintenance vendors in the region and markets</p><p>● Coordinate and conduct onboarding of trailers into our markets</p><p>● Work closely with control tower to manage all repairs and maintenance issues</p><p>● Coordinate with HSE & Compliance Manager for risk & claims</p><p>● Utilize data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in asset management. </p><p>● Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to senior management on fleet performance. </p><p>● Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for asset performance, regularly reporting on metrics such as equipment downtime and overall fleet efficiency.</p><p>● Build strong relationships with our customers, service centers, and other relevant stakeholders.</p><p>● Collaborate with facilities' shipping and receiving teams to understand operational challenges and improve asset performance.</p><p>● Implement strategies to minimize trailer damage.</p><p>● Work closely with drivers and facilities to identify trends and areas for improvement in asset care and use. </p><p>● Train facilities on reporting and addressing damages promptly. </p><p>● Collaborate with customer service teams to address any customer concerns related to equipment, ensuring high customer satisfaction levels. </p><p>● During New Driver Onboardings, train drivers on equipment usage, care and reporting procedures for damages.</p><p>● Foster a culture of responsibility and accountability among drivers in your regions. </p><p>● Analyze data to determine the optimal number of trailers needed in each market. </p><p>● Make recommendations for adjustments based on usage patterns and market demands. </p><p>● Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>● 5+ years in transportation operations and related maintenance experience and/or training</p><p>● 75%+ travel required within region and to Denver headquarters</p><p>● Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)</p><p>● Ability to pick up new systems quickly</p><p>● Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in all projects and an ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as necessary</p><p>● Ability to multi-task projects and required tasks in an organized fashion</p><p>● Ability to work in a team environment as well as self-motivated in individual projects</p><p>● Ability to communicate both verbally and written to all levels within and outside of the organization</p><p>● Strong attention to detail and critical thinking and problem solving skills</p><p>● Commitment to excellent customer service</p><p>● Ability to inspect and identify equipment repair and maintenance needs</p><p>● Understand mechanic work, repair shop, and parts maintenance </p><p>● Comfortable with learning and engaging on new technologies</p><br><p><strong>Compensation:</strong> $91-103k</p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>At Vorto we are committed to developing our employees and providing them exciting opportunities to grow and prosper in their careers. </p><p>We offer a competitive benefits package as well as numerous additional perks, including:</p><p>● Competitive compensation package</p><p>● Paid Time Off and Holidays</p><p>● Health, Dental and Vision Insurance</p><p>● 401(k) retirement plan with company match</p><p>● Flex and Health Savings Plans</p><p>● Company-paid life and short-term disability insurance</p><p>● Company-paid parking or RTD pass</p><p>● Voluntary income protection benefits including Life, AD&D, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, and Accident Protection Insurance</p><p>● Tuition Assistance</p><p>● Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</p><p>● Free or discounted legal program</p><p>● Product & Services Discount Program</p><p>● Modern office space in downtown Denver with daily coffee, tea, drinks & snacks</p><p>● We supply the industry's best hardware and productivity software.</p><br><p><em>Vorto is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</em></p><p><em>The Regional Asset Manager position will be posted until a qualified candidate is hired.</em></p><p><em>Disclaimer: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
